They left Horseshoe Bay at 8:30am- stopped in Bronte, TX for gas around noon and then they had a picnic lunch (Martha packed them goodies for the road- and a bit left over BBQ from Coopers in Llano, TX where we ate Sunday) in Roscoe and are now headed to Lubbock, TX to see Buddy Holly's gravesite. (Why does the tombstone have an "E" in Holly??). According to the text message update they are seeing lots of cotton fields. They plan to spend the night in Tatum, New Mexico!
